director statement:
This story comes from a personal approach to the facts that occurred between February 16 and 22, 2000 in the Colombian town of Villa del Rosario-El Salado. This was a massacre committed by the Bloque Norte and Bloque Héroes de los Montes de María of the United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia (AUC).
Baudilio comes out from the necessity to speak of pain and portrait a nacional reality through a human approaching, it is showing the remnants of war, a violence that transcend the shots and the blood, it is a way to remember and collaborate with the construction of historical memory, it is a call to forgive and a denial to forget.
