SINOPSYS:
Ana is a girl who lives in fear. The danger that surrounds her house and lurks in the countryside leads her grandparents to make up a myth in order to protect her. The threat that haunts them finally reaches their house and Ana is forced to face her greatest fear.

This story comes from a book I read in my childhood: Agujeros Negros by Yolanda Reyes. This book addresses the armed conflict that our country has gone through for decades, from a constant fear and the many difficult questions a child has to face when involved in a war from an early age.
'Birds' is born as a necessity to speak about the armed conflict from one of its infinite faces. In this case, the fear and uncertainty of living in the midst of an unknown danger that surrounds the land, from a little girl’s point of view, whose life is inevitably touched by war.
